Calling all researchers!

Here’s the best Social Networking idea I’ve seen in ages – if you are a researcher, you simply have to sign up! Ray Poynter has put together a site for researchers called the Market Research Space… I just signed up and will work on my page at the week-end. The site allows you to blog, post videoas etc etc.
I will keep you posted on how the site evolves but I think the concept is a fantastic idea so spread the word!

BTW je suis pas du tout d’accord avec ton dernier poste sur social networks… ning sting
and it’s based on a non understanding of social networks, people interaction, online communities which needs people to generate buzz, share ideas etc… i don’t see anything new or different from a facebook group etc… It can interesting only if there is a really active community, with a specific identity, and awesome hosts…
Anyway, it’s only a personal opinion, but I know i’m not the only one to think that…. it can work only on a short scale, because you need a host to take care of the community… and the purpose of ning is a self service social networks for people who want to create their own online communities… I have just issue with that… each communities are particular, work differently, and need different functionality, different IA, different experiences… etc… to be successful…
Anyway, happy to see that for once i’m not at all agreed…
