I totally agree - i'm getting way more out of twitter now that i'm following and being followed by over 30 people. I'm not sure how people keep track of 300+ tweets... but i still think it works best when the ebb & flow is consistent.

I also find that i use twitter 90% of the time on my iphone or blackberry. I use twinkle for the iphone and it adds location and tinyurls for pictures which get included in your tweets. Pretty cool... and a neat way of staying connected when i'm not chained to a desktop or laptop.

One purpose huh? ;)

Interestingly, Mack said in one of his updates the other day that he feel the experience gets better the more people he follows...

It would be great if you could assign followers to "streams" - so that those who like the personal updates can be separated from those who only want the professional insights & questions etc...

For now i'm trying to find balance between the two... but i've noticed that those who have huge followings tend to use it for one specific purpose...
