I work with the big four Internet Browsers for Windows. For different reasons.
IE 7
FireFox 3
Opera 9.5
Safari

I started to use Safari when Apple first released it then I stopped for a month or so when there was a secruity risk. I do like the private browsing easy to hide stuff like online shops for presents with out having to spend more then a second or two to delete the history of amazon and all the other shops.

I do like the Apple hardware but I am put off with the cost of it £699 ($1398) for a white case Macbook which is more then double for a standard laptop which has windows and if you want to spend £699 ($1398) you can get a windows based laptop that has the specs of the MacBook Pro. Even Apple’s MobileMe is a waste of money there is plent of sites out there that give you the same stuff for free.

Safari is a good browser for someone who does not need advanced features. People moving to safari from IE will definitely love it. But for someone like me who needs lots of addons to get everyday work done, there is nothing like Firefox. I don’t see myself jumping to any other browser until mozilla really screws up firefox

Sylvia, I had the same problem as ou did with Flock – let’s hope they sort the problem out as all new PCs are sold with Vista

Hi,
just installed it and had a go. I think Apple fans will love it, I also like the simplistic but stylish look of the browser and the layout, need to play with it more to give more relevant view on it though.
Myself, I am just about to make a decision – I am using Flock for blogging and Firefox for work, but…I just got a work laptop with Vista and Flock crashes, so need to try all of them once again to see which is the best for this system. Any tips more than welcome:)

I’ve got Safari and Firefox as alternatives to IE… both look pretty good and come with great features lacking in IE.

Having said that, most of the time when i have a desktop browser open, i also have web email open too. Exchange web email is best experienced in IE as it is optimized specifically for it. Viewing my exchange web email in anything but IE is a frustrating experience… so for now i’ll keep all 3

The same thing with Safary being automaticaly installed has made me really angry.

I have tried it… but I found nothing better that my lovely Opera 9.51 has.

“I am a big Internet Explorer fan” Really..? Strangely, I don’t think I even know anyone who would claim that…I’ve barely used IE in at least 5 years. Can’t really talk for Safari though, I’m more of a Firefox enhusiast myself ;o)

How would I play PMOG otherwise..? Not even mentioning all my other plug-ins!
