Just a quick blog post to let everybody know that I will be in New York next week. The lovely C.B Whittemore is organising a bloggers meet up next Wednesday – all welcome! Send me a tweet if you’re planning on coming along. Blogging will resume on my return!

George Bernard Shaw’s observation that the US and the UK are “two nations divided by a common language’ became reality when I logged onto my Facebook account this morning (see below) According to my calculations, 51.5001 of Brits would prefer to spell words such as favor or color without the letter ‘U’ as this makes

So I got my Blog cocktail card this morning courtesy Splendid Communications, and I’ll be having a go at making the ‘New York Lolly cocktail’ at the week-end I think Splendid Communications did a brilliant job at establishing relationship with the 50 or so bloggers who attended the Bloggers Meet Up on Tuesday, but they

Here’s a collection of PR pitches that landed in my inbox recently – some good, some, err, not so good! PR pitch #1: Twitter = Talking in public Tim from Olgivy, sent me an email yesterday asking me to blog about an ad campaign for a technology giant. I love advertising so technically it should

Apple store Originally uploaded by Life in LDN Apple’s product launches are legendary. The hype generated by the firm’s (apparent) secrecy surrounding new product launches, as well as leaked photos of the 4th generation Nano, contributed to consumer excitement and eagerness to buy the latest iPod. I was one of the thousands of people who

I recently got involved in a proposal on the topic of country branding which immediately got me thinking about London vs. New York. Both cities are so similar yet so different… The principles behind branding a country are not significantly different to the strategies applied to branding a corporation for e.g. · Ireland

We have some similar meet-ups here in my region. It’s not actually in Croatia but it’s in our neighbor country Serbia. It’s a gathering called BlogOpen and it’s held once per year (somewhere in October). It gathers around 250 bloggers from the region featuring some foreign famous bloggers. It’s the only event that gathers bloggers in our part of Europe
However we do have regular OpenCoffee events but they mostly gather web entrepreneurs who sometimes are bloggers to
If you ever get a chance, try joining the BlogOpen event, it’s really grate experience. It gathers some of the world’s most influential bloggers (and top bloggers in their countries of origin) and it’s almost free of charge

You should
You would be most welcome over here, mail them and you might get a chance to speak at the conference, the official website is http://www.blogopen.eu you’ll also find some content in English.
The enrollment isn’t open yet but they’ve got RSS feed, and also I’ll probably tell you when it is open
The conference will cost you virtually no money (something like € 20 i believe) just a symbolic price so people wouldn’t apply for conference and not appear (as they tend to do if it’s completely free).
I hope to see you all
