Twitter Live Wine Tasting tomorrow night!
My friend Annie Mole dropped me a line this afternoon asking me if I wanted to take part in a live Twitter / blogging / social media wine tasting tomorrow night, kindly hosted Robert McIntosh. I jumped at the opportunity as I think it’s an interesting strategy that aims to usilise a variety of social media tools LIVE!
Springwise have selected this event to be featured on their website is the company behind the wine tasting; here’s what they have to say about the event: ‘The project aims to give wine enthusiasts around the globe a chance to join the world’s top wine personalities online for tastings via the popular social networking tool Twitter. Users need only set up a free Twitter account and then follow binendswine on the service.’
UPDATE 21/08: Thanks Annie for spotting the error – was half asleep when I wrote that post last night
We’ll be sampling the wines of Hugel & Fils from the Alsace region (good job they have two French expat bloggers on board;)), and Etienne Hugel from the winery itself will be present.
The dinner will start and 20.30 GMT so stay tuned for some serious blogging action! I’ll be back with more details tomorrow.
