storytlr the cool new lifestream
TweetStorytlr is a new exciting lifestream I discovered yesterday.
Lifestreams are a funny breed… there are quite a few around but they never seem to come up spontaneously in conversations, and I believe the market is still very much open to new entrants. FriendFeed was a life saver back in the day where the Fail Whale was a regular on our screens! I don’t find its layout particularly user-friendly, but I really enjoy FrienFeed’s conversational aspect on the other hand.
Storytlr is a lifestream, that could easily be mistaken for a wordpress blog! I am really keen on being able to easily search content I created a couple of years ago.
I also really like the ‘create a story feature’. Storytlr lets you mash up your data from Qik, Flickr, Twitter or YouTube to tell your online story in a new, compelling way. I had a go at recreating my lunchtime sambuca story and was really pleased with the results, although I would have liked to have the option to edit the story manually.
You can view my storytlr feed right here, and the infamous sambuca at lunchtime story, right there!

Hi there,
Thanks for trying out storytlr! In case we did not make it clear enough, you can manually turn off and on items in the story when you are logged in and in edit mode and you can edit texts of images by clicking on them. Or maybe you had something else in mind when you mentioned edit the story manually? Let us know what you would like so we can think about it.
Cheers, alardw
