I am right-brained!

I just discovered a cool new tool thanks to my colleague Sylwia Presley – Typealyzer.

Typealyzer is a tool that analyses the contents of your blog based on Myers-Briggs Type Indicator,  a psychometric questionnaire designed to measure psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions.

According to Typealyzer, Blog till you Drop! falls into the Doers Category, ESTJ type (Extraversion, Sensing, Thinking, Judging)

The active and playful type. They are especially attuned to people and things around them and often full of energy, talking, joking and engaging in physical out-door activities.

The Doers are happiest with action-filled work which craves their full attention and focus. They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than following it through. They might have a problem with sitting still or remaining inactive for any period of time.

According to Typealyzer, the right-part of my brain is dominant when writing – must be my inner logical self!

Cosmopolitan on the other hand, falls into the Performers category,  ESFP type (Extraversion, Sensing, Thinking, Perceiving)

The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and don´t like to plan ahead – they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.

The enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a concrete and visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely initiate confrontation – qualities that can make it hard for them in management positions.

I found the results particularly interesting as I’ve always been told that I am left-brained. The two reports are also somewhat conflicting but are definitely representative of my personality… If one of my real-life friends happens to read this blog, I’d love to know what they think
