The T-Mobile Dance
Not brand new news, but something I’d like to share with my non-UK readers as it put a smile on my face
T-Mobile recently organised a flashmob at Liverpool Street, where dancers took over the station and started seriously ‘shaking it’
In terms of SEO and organic social media coverage, T-Mobile did really well, and the video on their YouTube channel has almost had 2 million hits! G1 anyone?
I’ve been saying for a while that YouTube is not currently being used by brands to its full potential but T-Mobile have done a fantastic job with their Life’s for Sharing channel that includes behind the scenes videos, how to do the T-Mobile dance and reactions of the public. You can also watch hilarious videos from the world of YouTube in the Dance Hall of Fame. Stay tuned…

I think T-Mobile should apologise for its role in the flash mob.

Hi Matthew,
Thanks for popping over here. Hope you don’t mind me asking, but why did you hate it?
