I heart Skittles for reminding me of my childhood and also changing their homepage yay!
UPDATE: Following my over-excited blog post about the Skittles website this morning, I just thought I would briefly expand on why I loved this campaign:
- When I arrived in the office this morning, the comments about Skittles on Twitter were pretty positive… until the kids started sending weird/rude tweets… You can’t make everyone happy, can you?
- I really love, love, love the Flickr integration, but I guess it’s just because I am into photography
- Skittles are sweets of my childhood and mixing nostalgia with social media made it a pretty colourful experience for me – I had a smile on my face the whole morning
- Quite a few of us took a screen shot of our tweets on the Skittles homepage, becoming part of the Skittles history… for the duration of a tweet!
I can’t wait to see what’s coming next!
