Earth Hour – spreading the word through social media
TweetHave you spotted the Earth Hour widget on the top right-hand side corner of my screen? Pretty cool, huh?

Earth Hour is a global event taking place on Saturday 28 March 2009, when people, businesses and iconic buildings around the world will switch off their lights for an hour at 8.30pm local time – making a statement to the world’s governments for more urgent and effective action on climate change.
Climate change is a scary thing indeed – remember the snow we had a few month ago followed by the ultra-mild weather we’ve had over the last few weeks? Scary huh?
We’re trying to get the word out to as many people as possible, getting them to sign up and show their support via this page: http://earthhour.wwf.org.uk/how_you_can_help/signup/
Go sign up – it’ll only take a couple of minutes
