Sneak preview of T-Mobile’s latest flashmob
TweetThe second T-Mobile flashmob took place earlier on this evening in the form of a giant karaoke hosted by Vernon Kaye on Trafalgar Square.
I found out about the event on YouTube yesterday, tweeted about it, and it was quickly re-tweeted by a few of my followers. I personally really like their social media strategy so far and I am glad to see that they are using Twitter to engage with bloggers, as they asked me to blog live at the event. I unfortunately arrived a little too late and couldn’t find the organisers! Sorry for letting you down!
I managed to take a few photos and a video of the event… it’s very amateurish but I only had my N95 with me at the time!
Needless to say, I can’t wait to see the final result, and I hope Spotify will be part of their overall Social Media strategy!

I was an advertising snob about the first ad, but in the area by chance and thought that the atmosphere was amazing!

I loved the first ad – it did really put a smile on my face!
I totally agree with you that the atmosphere was great although I wouldn’t be surprised if cynics start complaining about the fact that the Police was here and that this ad is a waste of tax payers’ money…

police presence was minimal – I thought it was a great event and part of an excellent campaign.
Although, I suspect I’ll be rather tired of it by the end of August.

Graeme,
It was indeed an excellent event and the atmosphere was electric. I can’t wait to see the ads…
