Great post Lolly. I have setup a FriendFeed account but sadly it has sat at the bottom of the pile, languishing untouched and unloved. I believe this is because I didn't understand how to get the most out of it. Your post has convinced me I should give it a second chance as there appears to be some real value to be gained.

Thanks,
Andy

So, I read the bar at the top too fast and thought it said, "Grab My ASS" and went, "Wait a minute..."

I have become a big fan of FriendFeed groups. See my post "Taking social media to the next level" at http://IndySocialMedia.com to see WHY!

Hi Chris,

I agree with you now that I have been using FriendFeed for a few weeks... I guess I was originally cncerned that I wouldn't be able to cope with too many feeds but so far so good.

Thanks for popping by!

I would agree with just about everything, except for point number 2. On friendfeed you can easily manage a large group of friends, compared to on twitter where that's next to impossible. I subscribe to a lot of people and just about everyone who subscribes to me, since you can easily sort them into 'lists' and keep your "home feed" from becoming too fast or noisy.
