A cocktail of advertising, social media, and technology
Ever felt that your brilliant marketing/advertising concept was unfairly discarded by your client or your ever so lovely boss?
50 Killed Ideas have recently been brought back to life thanks to creative publishing and marketing platform Blurb with a little help from Steve Hall from Adrant, cherry picking the best creative concepts from around the world – http://killedideas.com
These ideas in represent the blood, sweat and tears of many creatives who poured the best of themselves into their work, which never ultimately saw production.
Killed Ideas are offering you the opportunity to vote for your favourite Killed Idea . And with a little help from the blogosphere, some of these ideas could come to life!
I personally quite like killed idea 51.the Yozi Yogurt as well as 3.BFRANK. The overall winner for me, however, has to be the iDoll, the iPod speakers with a personality.
The iDoll somehow reminds me of a Nabaztag, and I would absolutely love a pair of these speakers at home!
I really like the Killed Ideas concept; through a simple website, photographers, designers, artists and creative agencies representing more than 31 countries and 170 brands submitted their best killed ideas to be considered for inclusion in the book, and here I am at home in London blogging about it!
The PR agency running the Killed Ideas campaign have given me 3 copies of Killed Ideas Vol. 1 for you guys. The book has been released as a special limited edition and is not for sale.
Here is what I’d like you to do to win the book:
Go to the killed ideas website, and vote for your favourite killed idea. Leave me a comment, and answer these simple questions:
1) Give your point of view on the Killed Ideas concept
2) Which of the 50 ideas really grabs your attention and why?
Get voting!
NB: I also have money-off coupons to be redeemed on a Blurb order before 31.08.09 – leave me a comment if you would like one of these!
