Twitter + Music = Twitgigs
TweetSince the explosion of micro-blogging service Twitter last year, Twitter-powered events have been mushrooming across London; think Twestival, The Shoreditch Twit, Aperitweat or Twitcamp. Whether you want to network, share your social media knowledge with other Tweeps or simply enjoy a drink or two, there’s something for everyone!

Enters Twitgigs, London’s first ever social media event that combines Twitter with music.
Supported by Smirnoff Night Vision initiative, theTwitgigs Experiment will take place at The Vibe Bar on 6th August and will feature a battle of the bands competition, on-screen live twitter feeds, and music-related giveaways on the night.
The August event is a chance to bring the online interaction to a real world space, combining live entertainment with social technology.
Smirnoff Original Nights provided organisers Rax and Nisha with an opportunity to fuse together their individual passions (@nishajl’s love for independent live music and @raxlakhani’s fascination with online communities) into a unique and hopefully memorable blend; Twitter + Music = Twitgigs

Hi Lolly – Thanks for the plug! The Twitgigs Experiment is hopefully going to be a really interesting night. Ticklets are going fast, and I'm sure they'll go even faster now that you've got the word out.
There will be plenty of experimental Twitter challenges on the night and for all those who won't be able to make it to London, we'll also be livestreaming the event.
Get your tickets now at http://www.tinyurl.com/twitgigs
See y'all there!
