More brilliant Starbucks news!
Sep 22nd
Following on from my recent post about Starbucks, I have just been informed that Starbucks are now offering free wi-fi with their Starbucks reward card! This is absolutely brilliant news and is likely to make me go to Starbucks instead of one of their competitors!
Quick question to the Starbuck’s PR team – is free wi-fi also available in the other international markets?
Believe or not, wi-fi is hard to find in Clapham Junction!

I am a late adopter when it comes to light-blogging service Posterous, purely because I’ve been a Tumblr user for quite a while.
After reading that Posterous has finally decided to introduce customizable themes, I decided to give the service a go.
If you still unsure as to which light-blogging service is for you, you’ll hopefully find this More >
TAT Augmented reality – privacy infringement?
Sep 17th
Augmented ID is a concept from Swedish company TAT that visualizes the digital identities of people you meet in real life. With a mobile device and face recognition software, Augmented ID enables you to discover selected information about people around you.
I absolutely love the concept, which takes mobile social networking to a whole new level. I am however not so keen on the use of the face recognition software; anyone’s life can be pulled up right in front of our eyes at the click of a button. That said, I’d love to be able scan someone’s phone (with their consent) More >
Smirnoff launches Green Apple Smirnoff and Lime Smirnoff
Sep 15th
You may remember Smirnoff sponsored the London Bloggers Meet Up last year promoting the delicious Moscow Mule, and also gave us some personalised cocktail cards.
It’s no secret that I enjoy cocktails now and again, and the PR agency promoting Smirnoff invited me to the UK launch of their new exciting flavours – Green Apple Smirnoff and Lime Smirnoff. I couldn’t attend last Friday’s official launch as I was on holiday, but the Smirnoff team unveiled five huge ice sculptures across the UK carved by ice-sculptor Jamie Hamilton to celebrate the launch.
Appearing in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool and London, the ice More >
