If you work in Public Relations, read on…

I welcome pitches as long as they are relevant to my blog, but here are a few basic housekeeping rules I’d like you to take into consideration….

- Please note that I do not accept guest blog posts

- Read my blog and try to understand what my interests are before you press the send button

- I am not a big fan of attached press releases (social media releases are OK though). Why not try to pitch me in 140 characters or less instead?

- I will delete blanket emails

- I like brands, social media, and advertising

I try to reply to most emails I receive, but don’t get offended if I don’t write about your service/product; it may just be that I am a little busy and contrary to popular belief, I do have a day time job
