My name is Laurence and I am a Senior Digital Brand Marketer and PhD Candidate. Originally from France, I have lived in the UK for the past 15 years. I have always had a passion for languages, culture and travels (I also speak Italian) and fell in love with the UK as a teenager. I moved to Canterbury (Kent) in 2000 where I completed a BA in Marketing, and have since had the most amazing career working both agency and client-side for a number of great brands including Waitrose (agency-side), Virgin (agency-side), the Greater London Authority where I headed up the social and content initiatives during the London 2012 Olympics, Shell, and RS Components.
In 2012, I decided to go back to university to complete a Masters of Research in Marketing, and I am currently studying towards my PhD in Digital Brand Marketing under the supervision of Professor Christodoulides at Birkbeck University of London. My research to date has very much focused on why people do the things they do online and subsequent impact on brands. My academic expertise spans across consumer psychology, marketing communications and branding. In sum, I do research (offline, online, qualitative, quantitative) to inform digital and branding strategies.
I am interested in hearing from large brands who need a temporary consultant/freelancer, but also medium or small brands who need help with their branding and digital strategy.
