How to reclaim/consolidate a Facebook Fan Page
Sep 28th
Now that you’ve successfully reclaimed that cybersquatted Twitter account, your client wants you to set up a fan page for the brand. After doing a quick search on Facebook, you noticed that fans have set up a number of fan pages impersonating the brand, a breach of Facebook’s terms and conditions.
Scenario #1:
If you do not currently have a Facebook Fan Page but want to reclaim these pages, simply contact Facebook to reclaim ownership/admin rights of the page; Facebook can also merge the fans of the other pages in one place if you ask nicely
Scenario #2

Checking in on Social Media in the US is a completely different story…
May 31st
During my recent trip to NYC, I couldn’t help but notice how much more mainstream Social Media is in the USA. As Adam pointed out in his recent 10 Foursquare secrets worth making public post, Foursquare [and other services] is much advanced than it is in London.
Here are a few interesting things I spotted out and about…
1) Foursquare
Businesses in NYC have completely embraced Foursquare and are being innovative with badges and offers.
NBC Studio are luring passers by into checking out The Toyota Concert Series by offering a limited edition badge - as Adam, highlighted, businesses are doing their bit, creating reasons More >
Interview with a Flickr A-Lister: meet Paola Cermak
May 13th
A few months ago, I blogged about falling out of love with Flickr, as I felt Yahoo! had failed to keep up with the rapidly changing social media landscape, and Flickr users’ needs (no Twitter/Facebook integration, lack of innovations within the platform, no status updates but to name a few).
I am a huge fan of the Flickr community and I still post occasional photos on my basic Flickr account, which allows me to also stay in touch with some of my favourite photographers.
One of these photographers, is the lovely Paola Cermak also known as Sunny on Flickr, whose adventures I have been following over More >

Latest viral game on Facebook – Miss Fighter
Dec 7th
I am not a gamer, but I do enjoy good old fashioned 2D games now and again. I had a lot of fun playing Hot Dog Bush earlier this this year, when Bush was ‘kicked out’ of the White House.
The latest game hotting things up in France, is Miss Fighter, a simple 2D game where players have to shoots as many Misses as they can to shut them up.
Unlike other Facebook game that send you lots of (sometimes) spammy notifications, Miss Fighter combines a number of ingredients that have helped the game go viral: - A global leader board More >
Making the most of the New Facebook Fan Pages
Mar 25th
They’ve done it again, Facebook have updated their layout, and ‘Bring back the old new Facebook’ groups have started to appear like mushrooms! Although you may find these changes annoying as an individual, there are some exciting news for brands with a Fan Page.
The first major change to Facebook is that people no longer need to be a member of Facebook to be able to see the product’s fan page. This, in my opinion, is a fabulous upgrade; the Facebook Fan page now offers you the opportunity to create a dynamic space on the web.
