How to embed your Foursquare check-ins in Google Maps
Jul 27th
I absolutely love this, as I can now easily remember the places I checked in but also take a look at my shout-outs! Here are the three easy steps you need to follow:
1) Log into your foursquare account and head over to http://foursquare.com/feeds/
2) Copy the URL for your KML feed and paste that URL into the search box
3) Add ?count=1000 (or more/less depending on your number of checkins) after the .kml extension
Voila! Here’s a map of all your checkins (Click picture to enlarge)
N.B: Best avoided if you do not wish to share your location with the rest of the world

George Bernard Shaw’s observation that the US and the UK are “two nations divided by a common language’ became reality when I logged onto my Facebook account this morning (see below)
According to my calculations, 51.5001 of Brits would prefer to spell words such as favor or color without the letter ‘U’ as this makes spelling much easier. This figure decreased by -0.129057 compared to the previous year.
Head over there for confirmation of these figures but bear in mind that this website might help you with your quest for the perfect English…
Good luck!
