Blogtillyoudrop says: Find Me
Oct 12th
George Bernard Shaw’s observation that the US and the UK are “two nations divided by a common language’ became reality when I logged onto my Facebook account this morning (see below)
According to my calculations, 51.5001 of Brits would prefer to spell words such as favor or color without the letter ‘U’ as this makes spelling much easier. This figure decreased by -0.129057 compared to the previous year.
Head over there for confirmation of these figures but bear in mind that this website might help you with your quest for the perfect English…

The New York Lolly Cocktail card has arrived!
Oct 3rd
So I got my Blog cocktail card this morning courtesy Splendid Communications, and I’ll be having a go at making the ‘New York Lolly cocktail’ at the week-end
I think Splendid Communications did a brilliant job at establishing relationship with the 50 or so bloggers who attended the Bloggers Meet Up on Tuesday, but they also managed to create a lot of buzz around the Smirnoff brand and the Moscow Mule via a variety of online venues such as the London Bloggers own blogs, Flickr, Twitter, Facebook but also YouTube, where you can watch a video of the making of the Moscow Mule.

Bad PR, dating geeks and another night out with bloggers…
Oct 1st
Here’s a collection of PR pitches that landed in my inbox recently – some good, some, err, not so good!
PR pitch #1: Twitter = Talking in public
Tim from Olgivy, sent me an email yesterday asking me to blog about an ad campaign for a technology giant. I love advertising so technically it should have been something I would have been happy to blog about… and the ads also looked good.
Such a shame his pitch was the worst piece of PR I have ever seen! I hated the tone of voice in his email (sounded like he couldn’t be bothered), and More >
Retail experience at the London Apple Store

Apple’s product launches are legendary. The hype generated by the firm’s (apparent) secrecy surrounding new product launches, as well as leaked photos of the 4th generation Nano, contributed to consumer excitement and eagerness to buy the latest iPod.
I was one of the thousands of people who went to the Apple Store on Regent Street last night, as I lost my iPod a couple of weeks ago. I may be an early adopter to a certain extent but I am certainly not one of these people who desperately needs the latest gizmos!

Bloggers meet up round 2.0
Jul 30th
I went to my second Bloggers’ Meet Up last night, held at Doggets in Blackfriars. The drinks were on Stella – just wanted to say thank you for supplying us with copious amounts of soft drinks, beer and vodka! We had lots and lots of fun so thank you! You can view last night’s photos here.
The usual suspects were here but I also got chatting to quite a few interesting peeps: Andy Bargery (thanks for organising the meet ups!),Willem (at last), Hayley, Anthony, Julius, Cristiano and Chris.
See you all next month!

London vs. New York – Can London be sexy?
Apr 16th
I recently got involved in a proposal on the topic of country branding which immediately got me thinking about London vs. New York. Both cities are so similar yet so different…
The principles behind branding a country are not significantly different to the strategies applied to branding a corporation for e.g.
· Ireland – With help of Hollywood, Ireland creates ebullient images of a windy, green island full of freckled, red-haired children along with award-winning, creative advertising of a unique product like Guinness.
· Croatia – In the aftermath of the Balkan conflict, war-torn Croatia was left with a very More >
