WOM vs. Digital PR (#mcl2)

Barcamps are great to exchange ideas with fellow professionals you would never otherwise met. Around 40 marketing professionals braved the rain to attend Media Camp London #2 last Saturday. The interesting Twitter chatter that took place on the day can be found right here.
One of the sessions I took part in, led me to think about the differences between WOM and digital PR, and this post attempts to identify the subtle nuances between both disciplines.

Mr Tweet is a Twitter tool that helps you both identify influencers beyond your Twitter network, but also tells you which of your followers you should be following back. Go and check it out! It’s brill!

I just discovered a cool new tool thanks to my colleague Sylwia Presley – Typealyzer.
Typealyzer is a tool that analyses the contents of your blog based on Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, a psychometric questionnaire designed to measure psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions.
According to Typealyzer, Blog till you Drop! falls into the Doers Category, ESTJ type (Extraversion, Sensing, Thinking, Judging)

Fear not, I am not going completely loopy and randomly blogging about sex!
As I was walking around Soho last night, I found this intriguing artwork on a Soho shop. As I was in the middle of Soho (the gay quarter in London, famous for its trendy bars, gay clubs and and sex shops), and as a typical jaded Londoner, I didn’t think much of it, until I came home and saw this comment from my friend Cristiano on my Flickr stream.
