You may remember Smirnoff sponsored the London Bloggers Meet Up last year promoting the delicious Moscow Mule, and also gave us some personalised cocktail cards.
It’s no secret that I enjoy cocktails now and again, and the PR agency promoting Smirnoff invited me to the UK launch of their new exciting flavours – Green Apple Smirnoff and Lime Smirnoff. I couldn’t attend last Friday’s official launch as I was on holiday, but the Smirnoff team unveiled five huge ice sculptures across the UK carved by ice-sculptor Jamie Hamilton to celebrate the launch.
Appearing in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool and London, the ice sculptures recreated iconic landmarks from each of the five major UK cities in the form of scaled-down replicas. The pictures of the sculptures can be found on their Flickr Stream.
I love flavoured vodkas (we’ve have lots of different flavours in France) and they’re clearly trying to rival Absolut with these exciting new flavours. I am quite excited about Lime Smirnoff and can’t wait to sample a Lime Moscow Mule next time I am out and about

Wodka is a product that has been out for a while now, and you just have to love their campaign!
With the influx of Poles in the UK, and the expansion of Europe, Polish Vodka Wodka has become a new item in UK’s shopping baskets. This has to be the best alcohol campaign I have seen in a while.
Still on the topic of alcohol consumption, I recently discovered another official anti-binge drinking campaign ad. You may remember that I was recently invited to the launch of the new Home Office’s anti- binge drinking campaign produced by ad agency VCCP.
