Following the success of this post, I felt it was time to write a quick note about plugins.
Now that your WordPress blog is up and running, the next step is to customize your blog by adding plugins. Plugins are small programs that add extra features to your blog; there are currently thousands of different plugins available.

Automatic, the company behind WordPress acquired Irish startup, Polldaddy today; it’s now dead easy to incorporate polls into blog posts, something that wasn’t possible before as Wodpress.com does not support java (grrr)
I recently re-installed TweetDeck on my laptop, and I’d like to use this as an opportunity to find out more about your fav Twitter desktop clients… and check out Polldaddy at the same time
